The Town of Greenback relies on the Loudon County Animal Shelter.

The purpose of the Loudon County Animal Shelter is to ensure the welfare, safety and health of the people and animals of Loudon County by responsibly and respectfully enforcing State animal regulations, by providing compassionate care for abused, stray, unwanted and impounded animals, by placing homeless animals at our shelter in loving homes, by promoting responsible pet ownership, and by reducing the number of unwanted animals in Loudon County. -LCAS

PPAWS is also a wonderful establishment that the Greenback community often utilizes. 

We believe that animal welfare is a community commitment. For this reason, we are dedicated to reaching our community through education, aid, and advocacy. -PPAWS
